I have over 30+ years' administrative experience, 20 of which were at the Executive Assistant and Office Manager level. I am a Certified Administrative Professional with an organizational management speciality (CAP-OM). I have extensive project coordination experience on small and large facility and move projects including space planning, budgeting, scheduling, contractor liaison, communication and more. My working career has included all levels of government (federal, provincial, municipal and regional) as well as health care, debt management, financial, and automotive services.
I'm known for being:
Pragmatic - I deal with things sensibly and realistically. You have limited time and I will provide the resources to get the job done.
Persistent - I don't give up easily. I will work closely with you to ensure we stay on track.
Responsible - I have a very strong and reliable work ethic; am accountable and will work collaboratively with you to meet expectations and timelines.
Detail Oriented - details are my thing and I take pride in making sure all tasks are completed correctly. No job is too big…or too small.
I decided to 'retire' from the corporate world in 2019 to eliminate the daily commute and have more time to pursue my own interests - generally to enjoy life more. However, that doesn't mean I want to simply sit idly by and watch the flowers grow. Making the decision to start over in my 'golden years' meant I was starting with a blank slate (yes that is old school reference), hence the choice for our company name.
I live in beautiful British Columbia. Downtime includes motorcycle riding adventures with my husband, travel, and enjoy family near or far, including four wonderful energy-limitless grandchildren!
