My journey into the world of speaking commenced after I bid farewell to the corporate arena upon retirement. Although kicking back and taking it easy, although that's certainly enjoyable at times, just isn't me.
It was the opportunity to uncover the passions that have been hidden away for years and reFIRE my career.
Over the years, I've been able to address diverse audiences, ranging from fundraisers and administrative workshops to corporate training sessions, local rotary clubs, and more. A significant highlight was my participation as a speaker at the 2019 Woman of Worth Conference in Vernon, BC.
My driving force is a fervent desire to make a difference in the lives of others. I'm a firm believer that cultivating the right ATTITUDE fosters resilience, and I speak passionately about how this single element has transformed my life and can do the same for you.
Does your organization possess the right ATTITUDE and RESILIENCE needed to strike a balance, overcome obstacles, and chart a positive course forward? If not, I encourage you to get in touch to arrange a speaking engagement.
With over four decades of experience in the administrative field, I take immense pleasure in sharing strategies and tips that empower administrative assistants to become indispensable assets. If your organization grapples with overwhelmed support staff and seeks to convert chaos into streamlined systems, I'm here to assist.
I'm a storyteller at heart, and if my narratives inspire and aid others, it's a rewarding bonus for all of us.
When I'm not on the speaking circuit, I share my life with my third husband (a tale worth hearing in itself). Together, we relish motorcycle rides, Canadian Football, Hockey, and the delightful challenge of keeping up with our four high-energy grandchildren. I find solace in leisurely walks with our two dogs, relaxing by a serene lake, or exploring new places and adventures when travelling.
I thrive on spontaneity which keeps me youthful at heart.
